St. Xavier Lacrosse Camp

The St. Xavier Lacrosse Camp is directed by Pat Collura, Ohio's High School "2005 Coach of the Year." His coaching staff will feature prominent lacrosse players from St. Xavier High School, Gettysburg College, the University of Vermont, and the College of Mount St. Joseph.

More than 150 campers attended the 2008 St. Xavier Lacrosse Camp.

Dan & Paul Collura: Both sons of camp director Pat Collura were All-Americans as seniors in 2005 at St. Xavier. Dan (attack) was the 2005 Ohio High School Lacrosse Association Player of the Year. Paul was the 2005 OHSLA Goalie of the Year. Paul was also the MVP for Team West in the 2005 National Senior Showcase in St. Louis. Dan and Paul now play at Div. III Gettysburg, ranked Top Five in the nation, who in 2008 won their sixth consecutive Centennial Conference championship.

Tom Nugent: Played at The Ohio State University 1990-1993 ... Head Coach at Wellington School 1994-1995 ... Currently Head Coach at Sycamore High School, 2004 Div. 2 State Champions, 2005 Div. 1B Final Four ... Has coached 3 MVP State Championship Games, 3 Academic All-Americans, 1 Collegiate All-American & 64 All-State Players ... Has grown the Sycamore program from 23 players in the high school in 1996, to 95 players in the high school, 57 players at the junior high, 64 players in grades 2-6 in 2006.

Alex Young: Played football, basketball and lacrosse at Sycamore H.S. ... Senior year received the Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award ... Finished his high school career with 108 goals, 50 assists and 217 ground balls ... Was team captain in lacrosse and basketball as a senior ... As senior and junior was named to the All-Ohio First Team ... Helped lead his team to the Div. II State Championship in lacrosse as a junior ... Playing lacrosse while majoring in community and international development at the University of Vermont.

Mitch Frey: 2006 All-American at Moeller, started his freshman year at Nazareth College in 2007.

Jeff Tindall: Entering his fifth year coaching lacrosse at St. Xavier. In 2008 his Varsity Reserve team went 7-3 against a varsity schedule of Cincinnati-area Div. II-III teams. ... "Big Daddy" moved to Cincinnati from his hometown -- the lacrosse hotbed of Syracuse, NY -- in 1995.
